sanjiv kumar solitude |
When I look back at the years I have lived, the most memorable times are those that I spent all alone, on my own terms, without having anything or anyone to go back to.
There was no fixed time to wake up, no agenda, no worry about meals, no hurry to come back home, no responsibilities towards anyone else.
There was complete freedom to give as much time to work and pleasure as I wanted to. There was no necessity to worry about whose time was hijacked by whom. Most of the time, work was pleasure and there was no requirement to segregate the two.
There was no room for guilt, self-reproach, insecurities and doubts, because there was nobody else involved whose presence/absence could generate these.
My interactions with others were not dependent on anything other than my wish to interact with them. I was in no need of anyone.
My choices, thoughts and actions were unified by the sole reason of my existence. To grow, that is. There was no other motive.
And then, I became a solitude.man A good man is never alone..........................................
